In his 28 years of practice, Dr. David Hartig has learned that communication with his patients is vital to good outcomes. Hunt Valley Family Health, which was founded in 1981, provides a full spectrum of medical services to patients of all ages. The Hunt Valley Laser & Skin Care Center, which Dr. Hartig started in 2006, offers an array of laser skin treatments, injectable fillers, and cosmetic BOTOX. Dr. Hartig’s practice employs seven nurse practitioners and 18 ancillary staff members, there to help with patients’ every need. Dr. Hartig keeps up with the latest research, knowledge he shares with his patients, so they can work together to come up with the best course of treatment.

Because of his particular interest in dermatology, he expanded to include Hunt Valley Laser and Skin  Care Center, which offers aesthetic uses of laser, Botox cosmetic, and several injectable fillers.

David Hartig, M.D.	David J. Hartig, M.D. David J. Hartig, M.D. established his private family practice in Cockeysville in 1981 after earning his medical degree from the University of Maryland and completing residency training at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He is certified by the Board of Family Medicine. Since the inception of his medical practice, Dr. Hartig has had a particular interest in treating disorders of the skin, and has performed a variety of minor surgical procedures which now number in the tens of thousands. The inclusion of several cosmetic laser applications as well as injectable fillers and BOTOX® Cosmetic has proven to be a natural and logical extension of his expertise.
Susan Porter, CRNP	Susan Porter, CRNP Susan Porter is a board certified family nurse practitioner working with Dr. Hartig since 2000. Susan earned her masters degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and has over thirteen years of experience, lending a level of expertise and assurance our clients expect and deserve.
Chris Adams, Aesthetician	Chris Adams, Aesthetician We are proud to introduce Chris Adams, our newest member to the HVLSCC team. Chris brings eight years of skin care experience to our patients. She will offer services such as European facials, LED therapy, peels, eye lash extensions, and facial waxing.
Lenann Cowley, Aesthetician	Lenann Cowley, Aesthetician Lenann Cowley aesthetician with over six years of experience is currently offering anti aging and acne medical grade facials as well as glycolic and salicylic peels to help you achieve your skincare goals. As an experienced esthetician Lenann offers her clients a mature and nurturing approach, comparable to none. Lenann is also providing a complete range of waxing services with impeccable results in a comfortable atmosphere.
