Pearl Fusion is a one-time treatment which requires only a topical anesthetic to achieve adequate client comfort. I can tailor the fractional treatment to target different areas of the face depending on each individual’s particular needs. For instance, increasing the number of ‘passes’ or intensity of light used allows me to specifically reduce peri-oral lines or eliminate eyelid ‘hooding’ in those who exhibit them. With the use of eye shields, I can virtually treat the entire upper and lower eyelids right to the lashes without sacrificing client safety while achieving results mimicking that of a surgical eyelift. The rejuvenation achieved around the eyes is astounding and one of the features I love to show prospective clients at the time of their consultation.

There is down-time following the Pearl Fusion, typically no more than seven days, during which time the healing process occurs and the skin is pink. In the vast majority of cases, our clients report very little discomfort during this period and use of analgesics is usually unnecessary. After a week, makeup can be applied, and normal activities pursued. I see my clients back twice in that first week to ensure adequate progress and to address any concerns they may have.
